Life along the river is changing. The leaves are dropping more each day but late October there were still some pretty autumn colors. We still enjoy our walks along the Willamette River and the change is interesting. We usually see large wedges of Canadian Geese, but few of the small birds we'd see frequently in the summer. The river depth is up so many of the sand bars are gone and even some of the shoreline has disappeared under water. Soon there will be no leaves on the trees, but as there is beauty todya, it will be lovely then.
