This morning we drove only about 10 miles form our motel to attend the San Diego Temple. It is so beautiful with lots of glass in many rooms. Having the glass all around made us feel like we were in the celestial kingdom full of the light of the Savior. We have enjoyed all of our stay, but this morning was special to feel the Savior's love for us in this beautiful building while on vacation! I guess our visits to the zoo and animal park have made us appreciate the beautiful creations God has made for us to enjoy and to go to the temple makes us realize that we are part of His Plan also.
Isn't it great that there are temples in so many places!

Looks like you're having a great vacation and seeing lots of neat things! We think it's great to have so many temples that we can go to, and made our last trip to the Montreal Temple last weekend. It will be nice to have the Seattle Temple closer and to not have a border to cross.
You're making it sound like San Diego is the ideal vacation place! That temple is the most exquisite I've ever seen!
