We had a wonderful reunion at Keith & Maxine Alger's home in Peoria, Arizona form the evening of the 27th of March until we all left on Monday morning the 30th. David and his siblings had a great time remembering their growing up years. It had been nearly 50 years since they had all slept under the same roof as David left on his mission June 1962 and Maxine & Keith were married December 1962. They and their spouse had often met together but it had been that long since they had all been in the same house to sleep!
Keith & Maxine's daughter and son-in-law, Johanna & Grant Call came over Saturday morning, the 28th, to make us a nice breakfast of waffles, eggs, bacon and some of Keith's fresh from the tree orange juice. We had a lovely barbeque in the afternoon with several more of Keith& Maxine's children bringing food and to visit. We had wonderful salmon for Sunday dinner. The best thing was just being together. It was great to feel the love and support between siblings and their spouses. It is wonderful to belong to such a great family!
